Right from the start, Cortese Brothers was courteous, making sure that they called me back in a timely fashion. Everything was done professionally, including the estimate, appointments, and the whole production process. They were always reachable, and went out on many limbs for me. The entire staff, and field workers were polite, and communication was great! I would recommend this company to anyone!

Cortese Brothers Construction proves that throwing money at advertising, and standing behind daddy's reputation goes a long way in the construction industry. I agree with the previous reviewer. The project manager has little real knowledge of the construction field and therefore promises things to homeowners that can not be done. Although you may be getting quality craftsmanship from a sub-contractor, somehow there always seems to be communication issues. Furthermore, customers may have paid Cortese Bros. for work that was completed, but that payment is not always passed on to the sub-contractor, leaving the homeowner vulnerable to Mechanics liens being placed on their property.

This company is truly not what it's cracked up to be or perceived as in the community. I am so sorry that I contracted with them for remodeling in my home. We had problems from day one. Good points: they were on-time every day Bad points: Poor project management; contractors are unhappy with management; quality of work; attention to detail; poor communication. Please keep looking for a good contractor - this is not one that I would EVER recommend to anyone, and I'm so disappointed to say so.
